The Man of the Match competition (“Competition”) is sponsored and managed by Carlsberg Breweries A/S (“Carlsberg”).

 

By entering this Competition, you agree to these terms and conditions and any decision Carlsberg makes regarding this Competition.    

 

Who can participate?

In order to enter into the competition, you must be above the legal drinking age in your country of residence and comply with all other relevant legal requirements in your country of residence for such participation.

 

Neither Carlsberg nor its advertising agencies’ employees or their immediate family members, may enter the Competition.

 

How do I participate?

No purchase is necessary.

 

You enter the Competition by participating in the global competition via selected channels and subsequently registering your details and confirmation of participation on the domain Carlsberg.football

 

The use of any software or automated, mechanical or electronic process that allows you to make automated, bulk and/or repeated entries is prohibited. Entries from agents, organised groups, entries automatically generated by computer, incomplete or corrupted entries, or any entries which are not in accordance with these terms and conditions, will not be accepted.

 

The Competition runs from 10 June 2016 and closes on 27 June 2016 (“Closing Date”) (“Competition Period”). Accordingly, the Closing Date is the last date of signing up and participating in the Competition.

 

You can register only once to participate in the Competition Period.

 

You will be asked to provide your contact details such as your name, email and phone number. Your contact details will be used only to contact you in connection with your participation in the Competition. By entering the Competition, you consent to Carlsberg registering the contact details you provide. Your contact details will be treated in accordance with Carlsberg’s privacy policy (available at http://www.carlsberg.com/#!overview/1261-cookie-and-privacy-policy ) and will only be made available to and used by Carlsberg and Carlsberg’s media partners for managing the Competition and will not be used for other purposes.

 

Only valid entries received by Carlsberg during the Competition Period will be eligible and accepted.  Carlsberg is not responsible for incomplete entries or entries not received within the Competition Period, for whatever reason including without limitation any technical or human error.

 

What can I win?

A VIP trip for two people (yourself as participant and a guest of yours) to watch the UEFA EURO 2016TM final live in Paris, and present the Man of the Match trophy after the game. Carlsberg provide transportation from the winner’s home country to Paris, where we will also cover accommodation for one night and hospitality throughout the day, transfers in Paris (to and from airport/station & to and from ground), ticket to the game in question, total estimated value of EUR 4500 per person.

 

All prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other assets. Carlsberg reserves the right to substitute any prize for another prize of equal or higher value if for any reason a prize cannot be awarded as contemplated in these terms and conditions.

 

You accept that your guest shall also comply with these terms and conditions.

 

Who wins?

The winner(s) are found amongst everyone having submitted a vote for the player that are ultimately chosen as Man of the Match in the Competition. You therefore accept that by entering the correct answer you will enter a pool of potential winners; however, the vote is not a guarantee for winning the prize.

 

The winners of the competition will be drawn up amongst those having submitted votes for Man of the Match. The total number of winners of the Competition is limited to 2.

 

The winners will be found no later than 1 July 2016.

Winners will be notified via the email address provided upon entering the Competition.

 

All winners will be asked to confirm acceptance of the prize.  If the winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 5 working days from date of the notification, the prize may be forfeited and Carlsberg may award the prize to another participant.  

 

Carlsberg is not responsible for any delay in or failure to receive notification of winning for any reason.

 

The prize is awarded at Carlsberg’s sole discretion and Carlsberg reserves the right not to award the prize if in its sole discretion it determines that the winner has breached these term and conditions.  All decisions of Carlsberg relating to this Competition, including award of winners, will be final and binding.

 

Publicity

By entering the Competition, the winner consents, without further correspondence or compensation, to the publication of his/her name and to feature in specific media footage and other elements (interview, filming before and when [in Lyon[LN1] ] and during the travels to/from the destination, and sharing that information on Carlsberg owned platform without limitation in time or place.

 

What else do I need to know?

Carlsberg reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any entries or not to release the prize to a winner that do not comply with or breach these terms and conditions.

 

Carlsberg accepts no responsibility or liability for

  • any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize;
  • any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of the player awarded “Man of the Match” not appearing for whatever reason for the presentation of the award or any other appearance related to the Competition;
  • any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the prize draw;
  • entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt;
  • any typos.
